Aloha kākou!
Time moves in layers: the past, the present, and how we carry forward. Every narrative holds a tension; a pull toward something waiting to be understood. A recognition, reciprocity, and a hope to hold space worthy of those that held it before.
Our focus settles on Hanakahi, where the clouds connect the mountain and town. In that space, our perspective widens, shaped by what came before and what stands with us now.
This work isn’t repetition; A continuation rather, recolored through time and informed by where we stand today.
We are carrying forward pieces that live beyond product, to be remembered for the way they moved, the way they were worn. For Auntie Nalani.
This gathering is a collection with intent, it is grounded in acknowledgment of those before us and those who welcomed us. We share our mark with intention, allowing moʻolelo to breathe forward. Please come cruise, talk story, and share space…
