Aloha kākou!
We present to you the second release from our Fall 2014 Delivery One Collection, entitled “We Forward In This Generation.” Based on Bob Marley’s inspiring lyrics, we interpret the meaning as “adaptation through change.” Through special textiles and new designs, as well as a few classics from our archive, we strive to showcase Hawaiʻi’s ability to assimilate and move forward through the multitude of changes within its existence. May we move forward in this generation, and may we move forward in each generation to come.
Lēʻahi Snapback
A design brought back from our archives. Lēʻahi (brow of the ʻahi fish) is the Hawaiian name for Diamond Head, which is prominently displayed in a design that fuses both modern style and classic Hawaiʻi imagery. The base of this hat is all black, with our multi-color Lēʻahi patch on the front and black embroidery around the sides and back. Our Pacific Standard label is stitched to the left of the black snap enclosure.
Lēʻahi Long Sleeve Tee – Black
Featuring the same Lēʻahi design mentioned above on a black long sleeve tee. This time the design is featured in grayscale, small on the front left chest and big on the middle back.
Birds of Paradise Tee – White or Black
This new design features our Aloha script on the front left chest and our crown on the upper back. On both sides we also feature a large block on the bottom, filled with silhouettes of various sized bird of paradise plants, as a different take on the time in Hawaiʻi’s history that saw a flood of outside solicitation of its beauty and imagery. Both white and black tees feature black print.
Boxed In Women’s Crop Top – White
A new design made for this season as a result of a literal take on a figurative feeling. It features a square outline with “FITTED” broken up and spaced out within, along with our signature small crown on the upper back. Both sides are printed in lilac, a color that ties back to the collection.
