Aloha kākou!
For this Saturday's FITSTRIKE release, we bring together three pieces connected by the marks, memories, and imagery that continue to represent Hawaiʻi in our own way.
Shot among ink, artwork, and the tools of the trade, the setting feels fitting. Tattoos are personal. They tell stories, represent people and places, and often become permanent reminders of where we’ve been and what matters to us.
The same can be said for the symbols we continue to put on what we wear.
Leading the release is the KOLEA SNAPBACK. A Vegas Gold crown meets a deep navy visor, creating the foundation for the embroidered kōlea artwork across the front. Detailed hits of navy, orange, and red give the bird its character, while additional contrasting details throughout finish the 9FIFTY silhouette.
The kōlea has long been a familiar seasonal sight throughout Hawaiʻi. It travels thousands of miles and, year after year, finds its way back to the islands. There’s something fitting about that—no matter how far the journey takes you, there’s always a connection pulling you home.
Alongside it comes the KAMEHAMEHA STRAPBACK in Navy. Kept clean and understated, the cap pairs a tonal navy body with a white embroidered profile of Kamehameha across the front. Rather than overcomplicating the design, the contrast lets the image speak for itself. A small FITTED crest at the rear completes a piece rooted in one of the most recognizable figures in Hawaiian history.
Rounding out the release is our classic DAYTRIPPER TEE in White. The tee graphics share the color with our Kolea and the warmth of the sun.
Three pieces. Three different marks.
One place behind them all.
Like ink beneath the skin certain things become part of who you are.
