Releasing exclusively in-store and online this Saturday, June 29 at 11am HST.
Aloha kākou!
We have a brand new hat design we’re excited to release to you all this Saturday, entitled Forrester. The name comes from the first British ship King Kamehameha bought during the lucrative sandalwood trade in the early 1800’s. Rather than go through middlemen for shipping the sandalwood to China, the new ship, later renamed Ta’amano after Queen Kaʻahumanu, allowed Hawaiʻi to sail the wood to China on its own. The Forrester was also famous for becoming the first ship proudly sailed under Hae Hawaiʻi (Flag of Hawaii). The Forrester snapback features a 100% polyester base in our DPICT camouflage pattern, and sports a large ethos embroidery on the front in red, white, and blue, outlined in black. Flanking the ASD is FITTED HAWAII split on both sides, while the Hae Hawaiʻi is centered below. It also features white side and back embroideries, white snap enclosure, and a black undervisor. Along with the Forrester, we’re releasing two Lēʻahi tank tops, with a large emblem on the back and a small crest with logotype on the front, printed on a black or white tank top.
