LĒʻAHI PACK

Releasing Saturday, Oct. 20th.

Aloha kākou!
Saturday's release, is our Lēʻahi pack, the Hawaiian word for Diamond Head. In Hawaiian mythology, it is said that the goddess Pele fled to Oʻahu where she bore holes / fire pits into the Earth, including the renowned and picturesque Diamond Head. This now extinct volcano cone is estimated to be roughly 150,000 years old. The Hawaiian name (Lēʻahi) is said to be a variation of the word "Lae" and "ʻahi". "According to legend, it was Hi‘iaka who compared the lae (brow) of the ‘ahi fish to the mountain." [via Hawaiian Encyclopedia]. The pack features a red tee with a FITTED seal that features the Hawaiian flag, the legendary Diamond Head backdrop and FITTED, Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. The cap is an indigo denim with brown leather strapback and buckle, white New Era, crest and crown stitching and the Lēʻahi graphic stitched on the front.
