This week's release brings together two distinct stories—one rooted in the sovereignty and resilience of Hawaiʻi, and another honoring the legacy of our Aliʻi. While each piece stands confidently on its own, together they represent a continued appreciation for the people, moments, and symbols that helped shape these islands.
Leading the rotation is a few of our SLAPSWIND caps, available in two 9Forty A-Frame Snapbacks and a classic 9Twenty Strapback silhouette. Featuring the iconic Hae Hawaiʻi embroidery, each cap serves as a reminder that a flag is far more than fabric—it represents identity, perseverance, and the ideals of a people. This release arrives in Denim/Walnut, Anthracite/Black, and a timeless Black Strapback, offering three versatile colorways that seamlessly fit into any daily rotation while carrying a story that extends far beyond the crown.
Our PRIDE also returns this week in a clean Dark Green Strapback, pairing a rich evergreen body with our signature Hawaiian Heritage "H" embroidered in crisp white.
The release is completed with the THRONE OF GOLD TEE, available in both White and Limestone. Featuring an illustrated composition of Hawaiʻi's reigning monarchs. We celebrate the leadership, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of the Aliʻi who guided the Hawaiian Kingdom through periods of immense change. Select elements are highlighted in gold and royal crimson, symbolizing the prestige, honor, and responsibility carried by those who sat upon the throne. Whether worn as a statement or appreciated as a historical piece, the design serves as a reminder that true leadership is defined not simply by power, but by service to one's people.

In 1843 Hae Hawaiʻi was taken down, and for five months a foreign flag flew over these islands. All our Aliʻi faced their fair share of turmoil, though for sitting Mōʻī Kauikeaouli tension was high and time was of the essence. He strategized, thought outside the box to send his trusted hoa Timoteo Haʻalilio abroad for the purpose of securing international recognition of Hawaiian sovereignty, first to the United States, then to Britain and France. It was July 31, 1843 that our flag was raised again, providing us a glimpse of the future.
Humans are, for the most part, very predictable. Greed, adulation, and power will convert some of the most honest souls. Hawaiʻi is a special place, filled with remarkable history, place, and people. Hae Hawaiʻi represents all three in a unified visual. Whether it’s the sound of the wind creating a slapping sound, the smell of līpoa permeating the air, or the resonance of greatness like Haʻalilio and Kauikeaouli.
History proves the habits of man. Are we to correct their wrongs or validate what they thought to be true?
