Aloha kākou!
We present to you the fourth release from our Fall 2014 Delivery One Collection, entitled “We Forward In This Generation.” Based on Bob Marley’s inspiring lyrics, we interpret the meaning as “adaptation through change.” Through special textiles and new designs, as well as a few classics from our archive, we strive to showcase Hawaiʻi’s ability to assimilate and move forward through the multitude of changes within its existence. May we move forward in this generation, and may we move forward in each generation to come.
HIProfile Floral 5 Panel Camper
Introducing our newest pattern, HIProfile Floral. This pattern features a collection of plants that we may see as local or iconic to Hawaiʻi, yet upon further inspection, it’s realized that these plants were actually introduced during colonization. The name of the pattern comes from their classification as “high profile” plants, which puts them under close watch as they are invasive and dangerous to the real indigenous plants of Hawaiʻi. This camper utilizes a unique split-color look, with navy along the left side and white along the right. It features our Mil-Spec label stitched on the front navy panel, along with white side crown and back crest embroidery. A leather visor and back strap provide a nice finishing touch.
HIProfile Floral Reversible Bucket
A reversible polyester bucket hat featuring our new HIProfile Floral pattern fully sublimated on both sides, one side navy and the other side white.
Scottish Landscape Tee – Navy
This tee features a photo print of Princess Kaʻiulani’s impressive oil painting, entitled “Scottish Landscape.” Chosen because it represents a significant turning point in Hawaiian history, where western culture was being accepted and embraced by many of the Hawaiian people, including royalty. Printed on navy, this tee also features a white crown on the upper back.
