Aloha kākou!
Saturday's release is comprised of a brand new, khaki Mua snapback with royal blue stitching on the front, the FITTED crest on the back, tonal eyelets and a white snap. Coinciding with this release is our 49 Stars tee which is dipped in all navy blue with a white star printed on the front chest and the American flag with 49 stars printed in white on the back. So why 49 stars? Well, we can look at it in a few ways: For one, we were the last state to join the United States of America, therefore sometimes we may be overlooked. In another light, you could look at the single star representing Hawaiʻi being completely isolated from the rest of the continental U.S. Which also puts us on a platform on center stage. However you may look at it, we're in a perpetual struggle to fight for our identity within politics and within a cultural aspect.
