Kamehameha Day Moʻolelo by Ola NakaʻahikiOn December 22nd, 1871 Lota Kapuāiwa Kalanimakua Aliʻiōlani Kalanikupuapaʻkalaninui (Kamehameha V) proclaimed June 11th “Kamehameha Day” to honor his grandfather. We now celebrate this day with lei draping ceremonies, floral parades, hula performances and paʻu riders to demonstrate past cultural activities to revere our Chief. The draping ceremony started in 1901 and it culminates annually with long strands of lei adorned around the neck and outreached arms of King Kamehameha I statues.There are a total of six statues, with the original Thomas R. This Saturday’s snapback features a woodland camouflage base, white eyelets and snap enclosure, and red undervisor and top button. The front and side logos are stitched in white while the back crest is stitched in red and white. Releasing alongside the F Script snapback is a white Locally Owned tee with black and yellow print and a black Home Grown Obama tank top with white and yellow print.

The Script snapback features a clean interpretation of our Fitted name in a refined script font, stitched small on the front panels for a classic look. The visor and top button are dark grey in contrast to the bright infrared crown, while the eyelets are light grey, back crest is white and dark grey, and the front logo, side New Era logo, and snap enclosure are white. We're also releasing a new colorway for our Burn tee, which features infrared and dark grey printed on a white tee.
