The name comes from the first British ship King Kamehameha bought during the lucrative sandalwood trade in the early 1800’s. Rather than go through middlemen for shipping the sandalwood to China, the new ship, later renamed Ta’amano after Queen Kaʻahumanu, allowed Hawaiʻi to sail the wood to China on its own. The Forrester was also famous for becoming the first ship proudly sailed under Hae Hawaiʻi (Flag of Hawaii). Releasing exclusively in-store and online this Saturday, June 15 at 11am HST.Aloha kākou!Saturday’s FITSTRIKE release is comprised of a new Palisade snapback and two Who The Crown Fits tees with bright neon accents. The Palisade snapback features an upright yellow crown with a black visor and teal undervisor. The front and back embroideries are black and metallic silver, the side logo, eyelets, and snap enclosure are white, and it’s topped off with a teal top button. The matching WTCF tees feature volt fill with teal outline on a spider grey or spider black tee. Please note that due to the tie-dye properties of the tees, we recommend going one size up.
