Our ancestors were able to navigate by strict use of nature, a few being the sun, stars, and manu (bird.) The inspiration behind the design talks about using birds as an essential tool to navigate. The design represents the feathers of a bird, which is in the shape of the sun. There are eight directions or paths in which our ancestors could take to navigate the seas (north, south, east, west, northwest, north east, south west, south east)....
