GENERATIONS

Aloha. Our elders. They’re our infinite guiding light of wisdom & knowledge acquired from previous generations and passed on to the youth. Our elders have experienced and gone through the same adversities and achievements that us younger generations may have recently gone through, or perhaps not even come across yet. It’s habitual for our parents or grandparents to naturally pass these generations of knowledge on to the keiki and although we may not notice it, we absorb every drop of wisdom in our mental. To salute the one’s that came before us, we’ve put together a t-shirt + custom Fitted combo pack. This pocket tee is printed on all black and features a white Hawaiian quilt-esque pattern on the pocket. The back...

Aloha KakouFist City, Hawaii. To the locals, you already know why our city has been christened with such a haughty nickname. To the outsiders, to put it straight forward, Hawaiians get busy. We’re mindful, peaceful people for the most part as long as you don’t come at us with the screwface. In a cultural text, this was (and can still be) referred to as Ku’i A Lua or “The Art Of Lua Fighting.” Lua meaning “a type of hand-to-hand fighting in which the fighters broke bones.” Weapons were scarcely used in this type of warfare, just straight up 1-on-1 scrapping with a more ferocious fringe, although a much more conventional variety of combat. Ku’i A Lua was also the divine...
