The New Era logo, side crown, and eyelets are embroidered in powdery sand yellow, while the back shaka logo is embroidered in white. Koko Kālā 59FIFTYOriginally released in 2007, our Kālā hats have become some of our most popular and sought after releases. Utilizing unique design, embroidery, and material rarely seen before, the Kālā became an instant classic. Running stitch floral embroidery was seen covering the hat in various bright colors, all on a solid colored cotton linen crown. Over the years, we’ve reintroduced the pattern in various projects, notably in collaborations with established companies like Crooks & Castles and Vans/Blue Hawaii. To honor that momentous occasion, we are bringing back that exact Murakami colorway remixed with the Kamehameha logo on the front, a nod to the other design that released at the same time in 2006.
