Originally designed specifically for our "professional" baseball team we pursued to do something special which birthed our Kālai design. From the genesis of our Kālai design, the inspiration and focus at the forefront was the space and surroundings of Kānewai and Kalaepōhaku. This place was essentially a quarry where rock, coral blocks, and other similar materials were cut for construction and were then transferred across spaces. Hence we emphasize this idea of a Kālaipōhaku which is a specialist versed with the skill of kākoʻi (maker of koʻi/axe/adze). Koʻi that was sourced and sharpened...

Tuesday’s FITSTRIKE release consists of a Forevermore 59FIFTY, a Mua A-Frame snapback, and a brand new tee entitled First In. The Forevermore 59FIFTY features a gray base with whit eand gray stitching on the front and back, white stitching on the side, and is finished off with a sky blue undervisor. The Mua A-Frame snapback features the same gray base and sky blue undervisor, along with white stitching on the front and side, and white and gray stitching on the back above a white snap closure. February 1 marks the beginning of Mahina ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, or Hawaiian Language Month, which was first established in 2013 in an effort to embrace and uplift Hawaiʻiʻs native language. In honor of this month, weʻre releasing our Alpha tee, offering a rare look at the first printed Hawaiian language alphabet from 1822 (notice the extra consonants B, D, R, T, and V). The Alpha design arrives on a vintage black long-sleeve tee or a beige short-sleeve tee. Accompanying the Alpha tees is a new Mānoa Mist 59FIFTY and matching snapback. This Tuesday, we’re releasing a special capsule celebrating Lunar New Year, featuring two H Pride Grown caps and a Heraldry tee. The H Pride Grown 59FIFTY and snapback both feature a red crown with black visor, black top button, and finished off with metallic gold rush embroidery all around. The snapback version also adds a white snap closure. The Heraldry tee keeps it subtle and clean with black print on a black tee.

We have a Mua family set and a Brigante tee releasing this Saturday under our FITSTRIKE program. The Mua 59FIFTY, Mua snapback, and keiki Mua snapback all feature a woodland camouflage base with black embroidery on the front and side, black and olive stitching on the back, and black eyelets. The 59FIFTY and snapback versions also add a black undervisor, while the adult and keiki snapbacks both add a black snap closure. The accompanying Brigante tee features a multi-colored print on the back and a white print on the front of a vintage black tee.
